Micah Hyde

With the Buccaneers somewhat pressing on offense, the Bills will be looking to take advantage.

Tampa Bay hasn’t been completely terrible offensively, but a lot was promised from the unit in the offseason. We’ve yet to see those promises

really come true. Jameis Winston isn’t quite in sync with DeSean Jackson. O.J. Howard hasn’t come on too strong just yet. With the offense potentially looking to do too much, guys like Micah Hyde can come in and take advantage.

Hyde has been no stranger to big plays this season. He leads the Bills, and the league, in interceptions with four. With five passes defended, he is also tied for the team lead in that category. The former Iowa Hawkeye is an imposing force back there at the safety position, one that is sure to take advantage of any mistakes the opposing quarterback might make. If the Bucs fall victim, their outlook might not be too good.

After a bad day in Minnesota back on Sept. 24, Winston has taken care of the ball in recent weeks. The young gunslinger likes to take chances, but needs to cut back on the ill-advised throws. If he is healthy enough to play on Sunday, he needs to keep an eye on Hyde. If he fails to look him off, there will be some problems. No matter who is at quarterback for Tampa Bay, Hyde needs to be accounted for.
