NFC NORTH

Detroit is off this week while the Packers host the Saints, Bears host the Panthers, and Minnesota welcomes the Ravens. All of these go down in the 1 PM time slot.

SIT: Everything Green Bay

I’m probably still throwing Jordy Nelson and Devante Adam out in my leagues, but in daily, I’m not buying any of them until I see what the Brett Hundley era has to offer.

START: Minnesota Vikings Defense

Baltimore has the 29th ranked offense in the NFL, and Minnesota has one of the better defensive units. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

SLEEPER: Running Back – Tarik Cohen, Chicago Bears

Again, if the Panthers are without Kuechly, this bodes very well for Cohen and his teammate Jordan Howard. I like Cohen a little more in this one though.

AFC NORTH

All of these teams are in action, so if you have one of their fantasy football mainstays then it’s a good week for you.

Baltimore is in Minnesota and Cleveland hosts the Titans in the 1 PM EST slot. Cincinnati is in Pittsburgh this week and they play at 4:25 PM EST this Sunday afternoon.

SIT: Tight End, Tyler Kroft – Cincinnati Bengals

Tyler Eifert is a good tight end. This Tyler is less good. The Steelers are allowing less than 5.5 points per week to this position, so don’t roll out this back-up.

START: Running Back, Duke Johnson Jr. – Cleveland Browns

Johnson had a bad week. It happens. But Deshone Kizer is coming back as the Browns’ starting quarterback, and he’s already shown he and Johnson have a connection. The Titans defense is solid against running backs, but less so against receivers. This guy is a bit of both, and should be good for double-digits in Week 7.

SLEEPER: Running Back, Joe Mixon – Cincinnati Bengals

The Pittsburgh defense is actually giving up a good amount of fantasy football points to opposing running backs so far in 2017.

Mixon is clearly the top back in Cincinnati, so he gets the nod. Though, it isn’t a fully confident one.
