giving the 16-year veteran 150 total sacks in his phenomenal career. With 6.5 sacks on the season he is half a sack behind the Buccaneers ENTIRE TEAM. He is still 50 away from the NFL record but can get to number four on the list with one more hit on the quarterback. His production at 37 years old, will be 38 in January, maybe the reason why Simeon Rice thinks he can still play.
While the Panthers defense is not the elite team it was two years ago when they made the Super Bowl they can still shut teams down. They have given up only three points in three games, the Bears scoring two defensive touchdowns. Like Cam Newton they are up and down though giving up more than 27 points in three games this year. With Kuechley back they can trust their middle zone and get after the passer and Julius Peppers will give Donovan Smith all he can handle.
This familiar foe could seriously impact the outcome of this game.
