Eric Ebron $3,700

The Lions are still fighting for a playoff spot and this week they travel to take on the unraveling Bengals team.  Ebron has been much more involved in the game plan as of late as over the last two weeks he has 15 catches for 129 yards and a score.  While this isn’t elite numbers by any means their opportunity is there for Ebron to go big.

The Bengals are 27th worst in the league at giving up points to opposing tight ends.  This week could be the big week that Ebron goes huge.  I predict his first 100 yard of the season and reels in two touchdowns.

Cameron Brate $3,300

Watch the injury report as Brate was limited at Wednesday’s practice, but the opportunity is there for him to have more targets this week with the absence of O.J. Howard and potential loss of DeSean Jackson.

While the Panthers as a whole have been solid against the tight end position this season. Brate should get a lot of balls thrown he was mainly if the Buccaneers get down early in the game.  Watch for Brate to go for close to 100 yards and at least one score.

Kansas City Chiefs $3,300

The Chiefs defense over the past two games has been excellent.  They are averaging 14 points per game given up while scoring 12 fantasy points per game.  These games were against the Chargers and Raiders who have much better offenses than the Dolphins.

The Dolphins are by no means an offensive powerhouse and have the always turnover prone Jay Cutler as the quarterback.  Watch for the Chiefs to score at least double-digit points for the third week in a row as they hold Miami to under 21 points and force at least three turnovers.

Los Angeles Chargers $ 3,700

The Chargers defense has struggled the last two games only averaging four fantasy points per game.  Before that they had been on a stretch of four straight contest with double-digit points scored fo them.

This week the Chargers right the ship defensively as they get to face the Jets.  On the season the Jets are 21st worst against opposing defenses and with the Chargers still fighting for a playoff spot they should be extra fired up for this contest.
