The Locked on Bucs podcast was joined by Trevor Sikkema to discuss the Buccaneers’ promotion of Todd Monken and to get his takeaways from the Senior Bowl and East/West Shrine Game.

David Harrison and I were joined by a familiar voice on the most recent Locked On Bucs podcast as Trevor Sikkema of Pewter Report, the Pewter Nation podcast, and the Locked On NFL Draft podcast jumped in to give his insight and opinions on the most recent happenings surrounding the Buccaneers.

The conversation opens up discussing Todd Monken becoming the full time Offensive Coordinator and how meaningless it appears from the surface. I explain my take – which you can also read here – while Trevor jumps in with his knowledge of the situation. Finally, David weighs in to round out the consensus.

Trevor dives into some Senior Bowl talk and which prospects jumped out at him that the Buccaneers may be interested in looking at a little closer this time of year. Trevor and David then gang up on me when it comes to Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett and how he could potentially fit inside the Bucs’ locker room. (Spoiler Alert: Just say no to Buckeye quarterbacks – always).

The guys have a little fun discussing Super Bowl prop bets as well as the halftime show where I set the over/under on songs played – much to Trevor’s chagrin. I also give you my “Lock of the Week” in what song Justin Timberlake opens with.

We have some more fun discussing a few free agents we see being – or not being – a fit in 2018, whether that’s someone they shouldn’t sign or someone they should let walk.
