The Buccaneers are officially back to 0-0 now, with the 2017-18 NFL season officially ending with the Eagles as your Super Bowl champions. The offseason is officially here and so is the Walking the Plank podcast! We know you missed us and we know you’re itching for some Bucs talk after watching two hateable teams play for the Lombardi Trophy. So as we get into true offseason mode, join us!
This week’s episode gets underway with a shoutout to Bobby Rainey, as this marks the podcast’s 43rd episode. We get right into business with a short talk about Buccaneer great John Lynch not making the Hall of Fame cut this year. How are his chances in the next few years? Might this delay Ronde Barber’s call to Canton? We’ll only know with time, but you know you want to find out what we have to say.

After a brief recap of the Super Bowl and a quick stab at the awful Philadelphia fan base, Zach and I get into the real fun. That’s right, we took on a full first round mock. Yes, this early in the draft process. The draft is always unpredictable, and that’s especially the case in February. But regardless, we try our luck by alternating back and forth, going pick-by-pick for all 32 picks. Who goes first overall? Who can the Bucs land with the No. 7 pick? How do we view a very debatable quarterback class? Why does Zach hate Josh Rosen so much? We have the answers to all of those questions and more in this week’s episode.
