The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought in a familiar face to work out. ‘Hard Knocks’ star Brogan Roback was at One Buc Place on Tuesday.

With only two quarterbacks on the roster, until Jameis Winston returns, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took a look at a potential practice squad candidate, quarterback Brogan Roback.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Roback was part of a workout group as the Buccaneers continue to adjust their roster after more injuries have ravaged the secondary.

Roback debuted on the HBO series ‘Hard Knocks’ as the Cleveland Browns fourth-string quarterback. Although he didn’t see much action in the preseason, Roback’s personality and humor were highlights of the show.

He was seen stocking the Browns’ quarterback RV with snacks and drinks for the rest of his position group in the opening episode, and every viewer hoped he would get his chance.

Roback received an opportunity with Cleveland in their preseason finale. Roback completed 50 percent of his passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. While he still has plenty of work to do before he becomes a viable NFL quarterback, he may not be a bad option for the practice squad.

Tampa Bay cut fourth-string quarterback Austin Allen in the preseason, and there is room for another quarterback on the practice squad if the Bucs feel the need to add one.

General manager Jason Licht must have paid close attention to the HBO mini-series because this is the second Browns player who has been on the Bucs’ radar. Tampa Bay picked up Carl Nassib before the season opener.

Nassibe nearly brought down Drew Brees for the sack and should play a big role up front in the Tampa defense.
