Doyle: K Chandler Catanzaro

Before the season, the Buccaneers tried to solve their well-documented kicking woes by signing Chandler Catanzaro to a three-year $9.75 million deal.

Quickly, it was apparent that Catanzaro was not the answer. He went 11-of-15 on field goal attempts (73.3), and a subpar 85.2 percent of his extra point attempts.

While he alone didn’t cost the Bucs any games, he did make life harder down the stretch on multiple occasions. His missed extra points gave opposing teams more of a cushion, allowing them to escape with a victory.

Tampa Bay invested plenty of money in Catanzaro, and he had by far his worst season as a pro. He was a reliable kicker in New York in 2017, but as soon as he threw on the red and pewter uniform, he lost his touch.

To make matters worse, recently acquired Cairo Santos hasn’t missed a single kick this season.

Jamil King (@jamilking96): WR DeSean Jackson

The biggest disappointment for me this season is DeSean Jackson. I think Jackson would also say it has been disappointing for him as well. After getting off to a fast, strong, and healthy start to the season that fire has slowly burned as the season progressed.  Jackson and Jameis Winston can’t seem to get on the same page with each other for whatever reason.

The Bucs will have an interesting decision deciding if they want to bring him back next season. Tampa has other options and could let Chris Godwin step into the number two role full time.
