Restricted Free Agents

LB Cameron Lynch

Lynch was primarily a special teams contributor in 2018. He was able to fight his way onto the roster and play in 16 games for the first time since his rookie year. Lynch will have his work cut out for him if he wants to make the team next year as a new coaching staff may not have the same trust that Dirk Koetter and company had in him.

RB Peyton Barber

The starting running back for the Bucs last season, Barber rushed for 871 yards and five touchdowns. He showed promise as the starter and will likely receive a tender. If a team wants to bring him on board, they would have to fork over a draft pick in the process.

S Andrew Adams

One of Jason Licht’s best additions of the season, Adams came off his couch to play an integral role in Tampa’s defense. He became a spot starter at safety as well as the team’s dime linebacker. Adams had a career day against the Panthers when he had three interceptions. There’s a good reason to bring him back in 2019.

CB De’Vante Harris

The Bucs dealt with a handful of injuries at cornerback and Harris provided solid depth for Tampa Bay. He played in 11 games, with nine tackles and three passes defended. He may not receive a tender, but he could land back in Tampa Bay to fight for one of the last corner spots on the roster.

LB Devante Bond

Bond had his best season as a pro, taking advantage of extended playing time as injuries ravaged the linebacking corps. He started in four games, racking up 22 tackles on the year. Again, another solid backup who could be entering his fourth season with the Bucs if they decide to re-sign him.

CB Javien Elliott

Elliot was another cornerback who was able to make an impact when injuries hit the unit. M.J. Stewart missed a good chunk of the season, and Elliot stepped in as the team’s slot corner. He played on special teams as well. More depth that deserves a shot with an NFL team in training camp.

T Leonard Wester

Wester started in his first NFL game in 2018. He was in his third season with Tampa Bay as a swing tackle. A player who will be looking to tag along as depth, Wester is familiar with the organization and could be in the mix for the primary swing tackle role.

TE Alan Cross

A fullback and special teams contributor, Cross landed on the Bucs roster yet again. He suited up in 14 games and could be in danger of not returning due to a new coaching staff. If they don’t see the same value that Koetter and company did, he could be with a new team in 2019.
