WR John Brown (Baltimore Ravens)

The Buccaneers will be looking for a deep threat in 2019 with DeSean Jackson heading out the door. Luckily for Tampa Bay, Arians may have a few players in mind that filled the role quite well when he was at the helm in Arizona.

John Brown, who spent four seasons under Arians with the Cardinals may be an option to take over as Tampa’s third receiver. The Pittsburgh State product became a  valuable weapon in Arians’ offense in Arizona.

Brown spent the 2018 season with the Baltimore Ravens and proved his time with the Cardinals wasn’t a fluke. He caught 42 passes for 715 yards and five touchdowns. In an offense that fits his skill set, Brown would be a complimentary piece to Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.

Tampa Bay may not need a wide receiver if they can retain Adam Humphries. However, the productive slot receiver will have plenty of suitors in free agency. If his price tag rises, the Bucs could look at Brown as a slightly cheaper option.

The Pewter Plank’s Michael Horan dove deep into the possibility of signing Brown in his piece a week ago.
