DL Corey Liuget
Somehow Corey Liuget is still on the market and in need of a new team after a strong start to his career as a member of the Los Angeles Chargers. For a team like the Buccaneers who are struggling mightily for depth along their defensive front, Liuget makes a world of sense for them.

At just 29, Liuget still has a ton of good football ahead of him after eight seasons with the Chargers. With Vita Vea looking to transition to more of a 3-4 defensive end role and out of the nose, Liuget would be a great plug to put in the middle of the Todd Bowles’ defensive front at 6’2 and 300 pounds.
Liuget is known as more of a run stuffer than pass rusher, but if he is sandwiched between Suh and Vea, then he could add a nice, experienced piece and give the Buccaneers a formidable front with no gaps. Right now the Buccaneers will need to rely on William Gholston, Terry Beckner Jr. and Rakeem Nunez-Roches to battle for significant minutes.
Throughout his career, Liuget has tallied 24 sacks, 59 tackles for loss, and 53 hits on the quarterback. Liuget’s size and ability would give the Buccaneers some much needed depth at the front of their defense.
