3 interior offensive linemen the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can target
By Cory Kinnan
John Sullivan
After anchoring an offensive line that led the Los Angeles Rams’ offense to a NFC Championship, John Sullivan did not see his option exercised and has sat on the open market ever since. The main reason for his release was due to his age at 33 years young, but displayed last year that he can still play at a high level in 2018.

Over the course of his ten year career, Sullivan has been a starter ever since his sophomore season, and over the past two years he has only missed one game for the Rams. The former sixth round pick back in 2008 is still looking to play in 2019.
At his age, Sullivan would not cost more than right around the veteran minimum, and the Buccaneers have enough cap space to make even a little over the minimum work on a one-year deal. This would allow for the Bucs to have a placeholder until Cappa can further develop or before the Buccaneers draft his replacement. While Sullivan has played center throughout his career, a move along the interior of the offensive line is feasible.
Sullivan has played for the Minnesota Vikings, who he was drafted by nearly a decade ago and where he spent the first seven years of his career, then spent one season in Washington before being signed by the Rams. Could the Buccaneers be his fourth team over a decade-long career?
