Fantasy football advise for Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. 49ers
By Dylan Grimm
What to expect from Bucs’ contributors
This matchup has the potential to be a shootout as both teams have serious question marks in the secondary. Fully expect Jameis Winston to top 300 passing yards and to throw two or more touchdowns. It would be wonderful Winston protect the ball more this season and make smart throws, because while the 49ers secondary isn’t elite, they do have a guy by the name of Richard Sherman playing cornerback and he can change the game at any moment.

Sunday’s game should shake out to be a game where we see both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin top 100 plus yards and a score a piece. In last year’s matchup Evans caught six passes for 116 yards, while Godwin caught four passes for 42 yards.
Tight End O.J. Howard was not healthy for last year’s matchup, so it will be exciting to see how he performs in game one since being hurt. Do not be shocked to see Howard get five catches for 45 yards, no touchdowns, but has the potential to put a score on the board.
In regards to Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones, it is better to wait and see how the beginning of the season shapes out before sticking them in the lineup. Barber had a rough game against the 49ers, where he carried the rock 18 times for a weak 47 yards (2.6 yards per carry), but salvaged his fantasy day with a rushing touchdown. Ronald Jones did not appear in this game either, so there is nothing to go off of for him.
