3 players the Buccaneers should target instead of Jalen Ramsey

So how about that Donovan Smith contract? He signed a three-year extension this offseason with $24 million guaranteed. Ever since he has gotten beat by rookies, plowed over in training camp. On the other side of the line, right tackle Demar Dotson looks like his cleats are days from being hung up as he has struggled with holding calls and in pass protection.

While Washington left tackle is unhappy with his current team and has not shown up all season to this point, he too is too price for the Buccaneers, as they have the fourth-highest paid offensive line in the league right now. However, a more cost effective option is Philadelphia Eagles’ tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai. A starter for the Eagles a year ago with the injury to veteran Jason Peters, he has been completely displaced by the team after they selected Andre Dillard with their first round pick in the draft.
He is just 26 years old, so he has plenty of playing time left in him and could be a significant contributor towards the future in Tampa Bay. He has started 17 games over his four year career, and currently works as the Eagles’ swing lineman right now. His services could probably be acquired for a day three pick if the Buccaneers are interested.
