Still no way to predict Winston

Last week we saw Jameis Winston post season-highs in passing yards (380) and touchdowns (3). Now we will discuss how Jameis Winston will fair against one of the best defenses in the league against the opposing passer after having faced one of the easiest last week.

More from The Pewter Plank

So far through three weeks the Rams allow the third fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Winston has struggled this season with his touchdown to interception ratio at a sad 5:4 so far through three games.

The Rams are one of the best in the league currently by forcing quarterbacks to a 1:3 ratio. This is a game the Bucs should be passing a ton in to attempt to hang with the Sean McVay offense so expect Winston to hit 250 passing yards. I expect two touchdowns and at least two turnovers for the Bucs signal caller this week in LA.

There’s better options available but Winston is far from the worst start this week at the position, so if you are in need of streaming a quarterback, do not be afraid of plugging Winston into your lineup. Hopefully the Buccaneers can get some consistency out of Winston moving forward as he looks to earn an extension in Tampa Bay.
