After an abysmal home loss against the New York Football Giants, your Tampa Bay Buccaneers now embark on a wild 48 day journey away from Raymond James Stadium. The first stop on this treacherous road trip is against the reigning NFC Champion, the LA Rams. The Rams have yet to look like the entire team that we saw last season but they head into week four with an undefeated record.

The Rams have beaten the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and the Cleveland Browns which is no easy task. The Rams have struggled a bit this year with their rushing attack compared to prior seasons and have targeted their running backs on less than 10% of total passes. The Rams passing game has been pretty great so far but is limited by the on and off play of Jared Goff. This rams defense, led by Aaron Donald is one of the entire groups once again. This defense is currently top 5 in total yards allowed and passing yards allowed.

With the Bucs having a struggling running game and what now seems to be a questionable defense, this game has the potential to get ugly. For the Bucs to win this game they need Jameis Winston to be perfect, good won’t cut it. This team is in a class well above Tampa Bay and I fully expect that to show on Sunday when the Rams host the Bucs. It will be very interesting to see how this team responds after blowing what seemed to be a guaranteed victory on Sunday.

My prediction is one most Bucs fans won’t like to see but I expect a 31-17 victory for the Rams. Maybe Jameis can use his amazing pre game speech skills to fire up the squad. I know we are all ready to eat another W. Incase Winston needs help with a speech he should take note from the legendary Animal House film.

“Over? Did you say ‘over’? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain’t over now. ‘Cause when the goin’ gets tough… The tough get goin’! Who’s with me? Let’s go!”.
