1. Chris Harris Jr., Denver Broncos

Chris Harris Jr. has been the anchor of the Denver Broncos’ defense since coming into the league as an undrafted player out of Kansas in 2011. Harris is currently signed to a 1-year contract with Denver at a price tag of $12.5 million; the Bucs currently only have a bit over $7 million in space, so some moves would need to be made in order to clear cap space.

Denver has started poorly this season and Harris has already made it clear that he is ready to leave. The Broncos don’t seem like a playoff-caliber team this season and if they continue to lose don’t be shocked if they move on from Harris.

The Bucs may be able to get Harris at a bargain price since Harris is only signed through this season. The only problem is that Harris will ultimately decide where he wants to go after this season if he would decide to leave after the season, the Bucs would most likely have given up a draft pick for a few months of his service.

Harris is 30 years old but is still a Pro Bowl type cornerback the Bucs could use to patch up a big hole in the secondary. Expect the Bucs to give Denver a call, and if the price is right, don’t be surprised if Harris is wearing pewter and red at some point this season.
