WR/PR Bobo Wilson

Is there any justification at this point for giving one of a limited 53 roster spots to wide receiver Bobo Wilson? Rarely contributing on the offensive side of the ball, and suspect production on special teams, Wilson put together a highlight reel of blunders for the pewter and red yesterday against the Panthers.

More from The Pewter Plank

Wilson muffed not one, but two punts for the Buccaneers as their punt returner in London, losing one at a crucial point in the ball game. As the Bucs were padding their stats, Wilson fumbled a punt with four minutes left in the game as the offense looked to make it a one score game. This muffed punt sealed the door on any potential miracle comeback as the Bucs left London with another L.

Playing on the offensive side of the ball in a limited role as well, Wilson caught one pass for 10 yards on three targets. On one of his other three targets, Wilson dropped a pass from quarterback Jameis Winston that would have given the Buccaneers a first down.

Two muffed punts, one fumble lost, and a dropped pass? It is hard to imagine a worse day from a Bucs player asked to a limited number of things, like Wilson is asked to do.

Bobo Wilson, you may walk the plank!
