7 offensive tackles for Buccaneers to pursue in free agency
By Cory Kinnan
7. Jason Peters, Philadelphia Eagles
First on the list is Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters. The savvy vet remains fifth on this list for two reasons: his age and status after this season.

There is no doubt that Peters has been one of the best tackles in football over the last decade, playing in nine Pro Bowls and being named as an All Pro twice in his career. As the Buccaneers look to patch their offensive line over the next two years, adding Peters on a one-year deal as a stop gap is not the worst idea in the world.
Dotson is gone after this season, almost a guaranteed statement at this point in the season. While Peters is older than Dotson, he is also far more productive, and the Bucs could do far worse than a proven veteran on a one-year deal. The question remains: will Peters retire after this season, or will he look to continue his career beyond 2019?
If the Bucs decide to stick with quarterback Jameis Winston past this season, then there is a high probability that the Buccaneers use their first rounder on the offensive line. Peters would be a great bridge and mentor to a young tackle as he transitions from college to the NFL.
