The Buccaneers take on the Titans in Week 8 coming off of a bye week. Here’s all the information you need to watch this matchup.
This Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be looking to get back in the win column after eating back-to-back losses to divisional rivals Saints and Panthers. This week they are set to take on the Tennessee Titans in what was meant to be a showdown between the first and second overall picks in the 2015 draft, Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota.
Instead, Mariota has been benched by the Titans, and the pewter and red will see longtime Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill. In his first start with the Titans last week, Tannehill led Tennessee to a win over the Los Angeles Chargers; he threw for 312 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, completing almost 80 percent of his passes.
The Buccaneers’ defense needs to get back on the right track in this game after being torched by Jared Goff, Teddy Bridgewater, and Kyle Allen in three straight weeks. They will get last year’s sack leader in Jason Pierre-Paul back in this game to pair with the leader of the league thus far in 2019, Shaquil Barrett.

Hopefully getting some added pass rush help, the Bucs may not have to expect their secondary to hold up in coverage for as long. Will Tannehill be the fourth straight quarterback to torch the pewter and red secondary, or will they finally grow a backbone and fight back?
