WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin

The Bucs may catch a big break this Sunday as 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl cornerback Marshone Lattimore is not expected to play on Sunday. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin must capitalize on this mismatch and continue to eat as they host their rivals from New Orleans.

Both on ridiculous paces, Evans and Godwin rank second and fourth respectively in receiving yards in the league through the first ten weeks of the season. Evans has recorded 924 yards through nine games and is on pace for 1,642 receiving yards; Godwin on the opposite side of the offense has tallied 840 yards receiving, on pace for nearly 1,500 yards on the season.

Evans and Godwin are both just one touchdown away from matching their total from a year ago as Evans has seven touchdowns, Godwin has six. Winston should have his fair share of opportunities to hit them as well with Lattimore potentially sidelined as well.

There is not a better duo in the National Football League than Evans and Godwin and they must continue to show that on Sunday if the Buccaneers have any hope of winning. Look for 12 and 13 to get after it at Raymond James Stadium as the Bucs will more than likely take their fair share of shots down the field.
