With the 12th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Jedrick Wills, offensive tackle, Alabama.

The biggest need on the Bucs is no surprise to anyone: it is offensive tackle and it is not close. Demar Dotson of the right side is over the hill, on a fast decline, and on the last year of his deal. He will not be back with the Buccaneers next year, and he may hang up the cleats after the 2019 year and call it a career.

On the left side, Donovan Smith has not been much better, but the Buccaneers are left on the hook with him until after next season after giving him a three year deal with the first two guaranteed this past offseason. While he will need to either get better or get lost within the next year, his job is likely safe beyond 2019.

Alabama has not one, but two first round prospects this year at the offensive tackle position in Alex Leatherwood and Jedrick Wills. Wills has, however, seemed to rise above that of his counterpart over the past couple of weeks, displaying great footwork and hand placement on the right side of the Crimson Tide offensive line.

The Bucs take him here to replace the aging Dotson.
