The most important position for the Buccaneers to address in the 2020 Draft is offensive line, specifically a tackle. The Buccaneer offensive line in 2019 was not as bad as it has been in the past but Demar Dotson is likely on his last legs and the Buccaneers need to find a suitable replacement for the veteran tackle. Fortunately for the Buccaneers, the 2020 Draft is filled with talent for the offensive line in multiple rounds.
Due to the excellent depth in this rising rookie class the Buccaneers do not have to use a first round pick on an offensive lineman to find a talented player. The top tackles will likely be drafted early on and will not be available for the Bucs with the 14th overall pick which means that Bruce Arians may wait for the second or third round to find a player worth the pick and not simply draft based on need.
While as a stat they are not a great indication of offensive line play, the Buccaneers did surrender 47 sacks in a single season. Part of this atrocity is on quarterback Jameis Winston as he would often hold the ball for far too long, but in the end the Bucs still need to evaluate the players on their line. If the Buccaneers wish to keep Demar Dotson it will likely be for only one more year at the most and a first round pick to replace Dotson would go a long way.
