Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Positive developments for several Bucs
By Rob Leeds
In a time where positive news stories are needed more than ever, several Buccaneers are experiencing events that are worth celebrating.
With most of the NFL stuck in a lull, the only real news that is coming out of the league is related to franchise tags or the release of players. The Buccaneers have been mostly silent in regard to both.
While the Bucs have not made the national news as of yet, some members of the Bucs have their own reasons to celebrate.
To start, 2019 break-out wide receiver Chris Godwin is coming off of the best season of his short career and was selected to the Pro Bowl team along with an All-Pro selection.

This may seem like the peak for an athlete other than a Super Bowl win or a Hall of Fame bust in their honor, but Chris Godwin may disagree. To go along with all of his on-field success, Godwin recently got engaged to his longtime girlfriend to start this weekend.
The last seven months must have been the best in Godwin’s life and rightfully so. Chris Godwin deserves all of the successes that come his way both on the field and off and Tampa Bay will be lucky to have the Godwins in Tampa for years to come.
You can see their engagement pictures below on Chris’ Instagram. Go ahead and wish the happy couple congratulations!
Speaking of players that have earned what they deserve, Tanner Hudson has been a fan favorite since the past preseason where he was electric as a pass-catcher and just recently signed on to remain with the Buccaneers for another season.
Hudson has been the epitome of hard work while on the Buccaneers and certainly deserves to have confidence shown in him from the team in the form of an extension.
There is a decent chance that Tampa Bay trades away one of their tight ends this offseason and Hudson could see his playing time increase.
Tanner Hudson may have started his career as an undrafted free agent, but his hard work has paid off. Hudson has been a favorite amongst Buccaneer fans due to his hard work, and that hard work could very well lead to more deals down the road.
