The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly expected to sign QB Tom Brady to a sizeable deal in the near future as NFL free-agency progresses.

As difficulties for travel have caused minor setbacks, Tom Brady has now taken his physical and is expected to sign shortly.

The overnight panics about possibilities of a Brady recant should be completely put to bed. According to Tampa Bay Times, Brady has since taken a physical today closer to him in New York.

I imagine things went well considering Brady and the Buccaneers are nearing a contract agreement for two years, with $60 million in (guarantees), according to reports from The Tampa Bay Times. This should tell folks right off the bat; the Buccaneers believe they’ve found their man for two years.

With that being said, it should also be important to note that ESPN’s, Adam Schefter reported earlier today that “multiple free agents” have made calls to Tampa Bay in search of wanting to play for a Brady-led team.

There hasn’t been this much buzz around the Bay Area since the Super Bowl parade down Dale Mabry afternoon the Super Bowl in ‘03. Free agents are calling asking for a opportunity, perhaps at a bargain, to want to play for this team. Like nothing this franchise has seen before.

With Brady all but penciled in as a Buccaneer, now we look forward to future player transactions that should be looked into. Edge rusher, Carl Nassib, and defensive tackle, Beau Allen were lost in free agency to the Raiders and Patriots, respectively.

Besides shoring up those two positions, Tampa Bay severely lacks tackle play as a go-to, three down running back.

Next. Rumors: Antonio Brown to Tampa 'ain't happening'. dark

Fortunately for Brady, this year’s draft is stacked with talent at both positions.  Perhaps selecting Andrew Thomas in the first round and running back, Jonathan Taylor, in the second? We’re a little over a month away from finding out.
