The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have one of the best wide receiver corps in the NFL, but they will need to find a true WR3 this offseason.

While the argument can be made that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the best receiver groups in the NFL, it is clear that the Bucs do have the best duo in the league in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Mike Evans has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL since he was drafted back in 2014, and Chris Godwin recently experienced a breakout and received an All-Pro selection in 2019.

These two will pair up extremely well with Tom Brady in 2020, but who will be the Bucs’ WR3 remains a mystery. The Buccaneers have many options and the correct selection could give Tampa Bay the best offense in the NFL in the future.

Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller

Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller served the number three spot on the depth chart last season, with neither finding much success until the end of the year.

Perriman was mostly non-existent for the start of the season but found a substantial amount of success when Mike Evans went down with injury followed by Chris Godwin.

When all seemed lost for the Buccaneers, Perriman stepped up and was an extremely viable option through the air.

Much like Perriman, Scotty Miller also played a very limited role for the start of the season but did show some upside when given chances.

Miller is small but fast and generally has sure hands. He could be a great option for Brady from the slot if Godwin is lined up elsewhere.

As a whole, Miller will likely be returning to Tampa Bay in 2020 while Perriman recently walked in free agency. Tampa Bay has very little money invested in Miller and he is still on contract. Perriman was not cheap coming to Tampa Bay in the first place and made himself some money down the stretch as a starter, making him too expensive to bring back.

The Buccaneers will wait and see what they have in Scotty Miller, but with Breshad Perriman gone they will have to turn their attention elsewhere.
