Tampa Bay Buccaneers new jerseys are what we’ve all been waiting for

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their new uniforms Tuesday afternoon and these uniforms are exactly what we’ve all been waiting for.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their new uniforms Tuesday afternoon to an overwhelmingly positive response.

The Buccaneers announced that the new uniforms will feature a red jersey with pewter pants for home games and all white look for away game. The all-pewter color rush jersey can be worn three times a year.

No matter which uniform is your favorite, it does seem that the overwhelming majority of Buccaneers came away pleased with the outcome.

Why?

For the last few seasons, the Bucs have had uniforms that look almost similar to that of an Arena Football team. They’ve had what many considered to be the ugliest uniforms in the league and these take the organization to a different level in terms of its perception across the NFL.

For the first time in quite a while, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have professional-style uniforms. They have something that fans can be proud of.

Are the uniforms complex? No, they’re basic in design. But that basic design shows professionalism and blends the old Super Bowl era look with the new.

And then there’s the all-Pewter jersey.

I personally wanted to see a creamsicle uniform as a way to pay tribute to the past, but the Bucs elected to go in a different direction- and there’s nothing wrong with it. Instead, they chose to have a ‘clean look’ that features an all-Pewter alternate.

That all-Pewter ‘color rush’ alternate- just like the other jerseys- isn’t the most complex design, but it speaks volumes and looks really good.

This is exactly what Tampa Bay fans have been waiting for. It’s a new look for an organization with a renewed focus ready for a new outcome and major changes.
