Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 5 best wide receivers of all time
By Rob Leeds
Coming back to a more recent name, Vincent Jackson comes in at fourth on this list because he too had a hand in laying the foundation for the Buccaneers to shift from a run-oriented offense to one that places a heavier insistence on the pass.
Jackson may not have the same touchdown stats as some of the longer-tenured players, but his time with the Buccaneers before and during the Jameis Winston transition was very effective.

Vincent Jackson posted three consecutive 1,000+ receiving yard seasons, a feat that is only also held by the players at first and third on this list.
The biggest reason why Vincent Jackson comes in at fourth on this list rather than third is because he played with Josh Freeman rather than players like Chris Simms and Bruce Gradkowski like Galloway.
Freeman was certainly able to air the ball out more than his counterparts in the decade prior, but Vincent Jackson was still able to make a name for himself in Buccaneer history.
Vincent Jackson was Mike Evans before Evans was in the league. Also standing at 6’5”, Jackson used every inch to his advantage and was able to out-jump any corner in the league.
During his tenure with Tampa Bay, it seemed like every reception Jackson had was over an opposing corner and he never failed to make the big play when the game was on the line. Most Bucs fans will never forget Jackson’s hand in the Week 11 comeback and overtime win versus the Carolina Panthers back in 2012.
Vincent Jackson may have been the first Buccaneer receiver to dominate with a competent quarterback in the modern era, but he certainly left his mark on the Buccaneers as one of their best pass-catchers ever.
