Where do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rank in terms of their new uniforms? Here’s a look at Sporting News’ updated NFL uniform rankings.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their new uniforms earlier this week and there was great celebration across the league.

After more than a half-decade of wearing uniforms similar to an arena football team, the Buccaneers unveiled jerseys that look professional and show a look that honors the Super Bowl-era team with a modern touch.

Where do the Buccaneers rank in terms of the league? Here’s a look at Sporting News’ uniform rankings across the NFL. The organization ranked all 32 teams.

  1. Dallas Cowboys
  2. Seattle Seahawks
  3. Pittsburgh Steelers
  4. Green Bay Packers
  5. Las Vegas Raiders
  6. Los Angeles Chargers
  7. Los Angeles Rams
  8. Baltimore Ravens
  9. Philadelphia Eagles
  10. Kansas City Chiefs
  11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers now rank No. 11 in the league, according to Sporting News. In the previous rankings that were released before the 2019 season, Tampa Bay was ranked No. 26. That’s a movement of 15 spots.

The vast majority of Tampa Bay faithful seemed pleased with the uniform reveal. The Buccaneers have two new, but familiar looks with those red and white combinations, but blew everyone away with the all-pewter color rush jersey.

That alternate uniform can be worn three times during the regular season (and can also be worn in the playoffs, should Tampa make the postseason) and will be extremely fun to watch. Bucs nation finally has uniforms they can be proud of and that will absolutely be on display as jersey sales continue to go through the roof.

Interestingly enough, the Bucs’ cross-divisional rival Atlanta Falcons also released their new uniforms this week. The Falcons were ranked No. 21, but have now moved back to No. 24.
