Caesars Sportsbook has released its predictions for the NFL in 2020 and the odds are not ruling out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have created a ton of buzz this offseason. The signing of Tom Brady is huge and expectations are higher than they’ve ever been.

While winning the Super Bowl may be a bit outlandish, the prospect of making the playoffs is extremely realistic for Tampa Bay and Caesars Sportsbook backs it up.

Caesars showed their predictions and betting odds for the NFL here, and while the Saints do get the nod in the NFC South, the Buccaneers are favorites to make the playoffs.

The over/under for the season win total is set at very fair nine for the Bucs considering some of their difficult matchups scheduled for 2020. Tampa Bay will have games against some of the top teams in the NFL but was able to play close in some of the toughest matchups in 2019.

The Bucs have the sixth-highest odds of making the Super Bowl amongst the NFC being set at 17-1. This seems generous for a team that had its share of disastrous moments last season, but the hype surround the franchise is starting to become hard to ignore.

The Bucs have two of the best wide receivers in the NFL, the greatest quarterback to ever play, and a defense that has the potential to be a top-10 unit in 2020. Caesars is being more realistic than some of the overly-optimistic fans, but they do agree that Tampa Bay will be a dangerous team.

Despite the difficult schedule coming up, taking the over on that nine-win line seems like a far better option than taking the under. Outside of the games versus the Saints, the Packers, and the Chiefs the Buccaneers have a decent chance of winning against everyone else.

Fans of the Bucs shouldn’t get too carried away just yet. There are still many things that need to happen before a playoff spot is locked down and these odds can be way off. Caution and realism can’t be thrown out the door, but the anticipation is deserved and the start of the season is inching closer.
