Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Pewter Plank mock draft compilation

Round 1: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia
Andrew Thomas is the safest offensive tackle pick in the draft, and he falls to No. 14 here in this mock. He’d be a big-time get and has a perfect skill set to fill that right tackle position.
Round 2: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
I know many disagree with taking a running back in the second round, but J.K. Dobbins isn’t just a running back. Dobbins is the most explosive player in this draft, and he can run and catch the ball out of the backfield just as good as anyone. He would be an excellent fit to pair with Ronald Jones and Tom Brady in that backfield.
Round 3: Ashytn Davis, S, Cal
Outside of the Xavier McKinney and Grant Delpit, Ashtyn Davis is the best safety in this draft class. There are many reasons to believe he won’t be available in Round 3, but he was available here and would be a big-time pick-up.
Round 4: Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina
Bryan Edwards suffered an injury that is setting him back, but he has received great news on that front. He’s the perfect body type to fill in at that third WR position.
Round 4: Alton Robinson, Edge, Syracuse
Alton Robinson may be one of the most underrated edge rushers in this draft. Robinson has shown great explosiveness and athleticism to play the position and would fit into the Bucs’ system perfectly.
Round 5: Tyler Clark, IDL, Georgia
Tyler Clark is the late-round answer along the interior defensive line. He’s not a guy that should be expected to come in and play a ton early, but he could provide great depth.
Round 6: Dane Jackson, CB, Pitt
Dane Jackson is an extremely talented cornerback, and to get him in the sixth round would be a steal to shore up that Tampa Bay secondary.
