The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 2

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to get into the win column Sunday afternoon against NFC South rival Carolina Panthers in Raymond James Stadium.

The Buccaneers, who fell short against the New Orleans Saints last week, will be at home for the first time this season this week and are focused on righting the ship here in Week 2.

Tampa Bay is currently listed as a 9.5-point favorite over the Panthers and it will be interesting to see what happens when the two rivals take the field Sunday afternoon.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers: Analysis & Prediction

When you look at these two teams, there’s a reason that the Buccaneers are the favorites.

The Panthers have a bunch of new pieces and plenty of holes across the roster. While the Bucs certainly still have their share of questions, there is plenty of talent across both sides of the ball who are set to make impacts.

The defense of the Bucs will be focused on containing Christian McCaffrey and doing their best to not allow the big play.

The offense is still trying to gain chemistry and get things going after a rough week last week. The good news is that the strength of this Bucs offense is the weakness of the Panthers defense.

The Panthers have one of the league’s worst pass-rushes and there are holes in the secondary. If the Buccaneers can get their pass-protection going- after a rough week last week- and Tom Brady can refrain from turning the ball over, you’re talking about a chance for the Bucs to score a lot of points.

Final Score Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34, Carolina Panthers 21
