Three biggest roadblocks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the remaining schedule

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked primed and ready to make a run at the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean there still aren’t some challenges standing in the way.

The Buccaneers, who are standing at 5-2 at almost the midway point of the season, are now considered one of the top contenders for the NFC and to compete for a Super Bowl berth.

Though we all know that Tampa Bay will have to show up week-in and week-out because no game is a given (such as against the Giants, Falcons and Panthers, where they’ll be favored heavily), there are three major tests remaining on the 2020 schedule that will have an enormous impact on the outcome of the season for the Bucs.

Here’s a look at the three biggest roadblocks standing in the of the Bucs and a successful 2020 season.

November 8: vs. New Orleans Saints

We’ll go ahead and start with the most obvious one first. The game against NFC South Division rival New Orleans Saints is looming large and there’s no doubt that this will be a big-time showdown.

The game, which will be in Tampa Bay, is slated to be the Sunday Night Football matchup and there’s all kinds of major storylines heading into this one.

If both teams hold serve during Week 8, you would be talking about the winner of this game holding firm control over the division moving forward. Talk about high stakes.
