Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Tom Brady and Antonio Brown saga
By Rob Leeds
Brady and Brown were two of the best players in the 2010s. Not only were they dominant offensively, a feat that placed them on the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade team, but they were two of the best players of any position during the decade.

Tom Brady won three Super Bowls and two league MVP awards, and Brown led the league in receptions twice, passing yards twice, and was awarded numerous All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections.
In 2015, this duo would’ve been the best in the NFL by a wide margin, but in 2020 in Tampa Bay, Brown is Brady’s third or fourth option at best. There is no doubt that Brown has a chance to regain his older form, but the Buccaneers already have a wealth of talent at the wide receiver position.
Brady is practically undisputed in his glory, but Brown is where some conversations or debates begin. His talent makes him one of the best in the NFL, but his off-field antics have cast a pall over his extremely impressive career.
Regardless of the reason, Brown went from being one of the best receivers in the NFL to out of the league and on suspension in a frighteningly-short period. Tampa Bay is likely Brown’s last chance to leave a legacy as one of the best wide receivers of all time, and Brady can use this to cement his own legacy as well.
