Three reasons the Buccaneers will never be out of the Super Bowl race
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be in the fight to the very end when it comes to the race to the postseason and the Super Bowl during the 2020 season.
The Buccaneers, who sit at 7-3 as we head into Week 11 of the season, are currently considered to have the third-highest odds at winning the Super Bowl as any team in the NFC, despite sitting in second place in their division.
Tampa Bay has had its fair share of shortcomings throughout the year- including the 38-3 debacle at the hands of the Saints just a couple of weeks ago- but there’s no doubt that this team still has the potential and talent to make a run.
Here are three reasons why the Buccaneers can never be counted out of the Super Bowl race.
3. Offensive weapons all across the field
There is perhaps no other offense in the league- maybe other than the Chiefs- that possesses as many offensive weapons as the Bucs.
When healthy and completely focused, you’ve got three of the best wide receivers in the league in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown. Though Rob Gronkowski isn’t the same tight end as he was five years ago, he still has proven to be a viable option.
And then on top of all of that, you’ve got solid playmakers and contributors like Scotty Miller (who has proven to be a force), Ronald Jones II (who is coming along nicely), Leonard Fournette and rookie Tyler Johnson, just to name a few.
When you have that many offensive weapons, you can’t be counted out because defenses are forced into tough situations trying to maintain all of the options.
