Tampa Bay Buccaneers plummeting in Week 12 Power Rankings

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a home loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football and, as a result, took a plummet in the latest Power Rankings.

The Buccaneers came into their matchup with the Rams as a slight favorite, but walked out defeated after they made too many mistakes and the offense looked putrid for the vast majority of the game.

With the loss, the Bucs fell in all major power rankings. Here’s a look at where they stand heading into Week 12:

The Buccaneers dropped in basically ever major Power Ranking, and for good reason

The  Bucs didn’t plummet out of NFL.com or ESPN’s rankings, but they dropped big-time in Yahoo and CBS. Honestly, you can’t blame them either.

As much as we want to believe that this team can make a run in the postseason, the truth is that they’ve consistently come up short in every major matchup they’ve had this season- barring the game with the Packers.

The Bucs are just 1-3 in primetime games and they’ve looked atrocious in basically every single one.

While this team still has an opportunity to get to the playoffs- and should be considered likely to do so- you just wonder what the ceiling is. The Bucs consistently seem to fall short on the big stage and you’ve got to imagine that the postseason would be no different, especially considering the performances that Tom Brady has given in primetime this season.

Tom Brady in primetime might as well be Jameis Winston. dark. Next

Nevertheless, the Bucs are back in action this Sunday when they’ll take on the reigning Super Bowl champions- Kansas City Chiefs- as they look to rebound from the loss this past week.
