2. The signing of Tom Brady has made this franchise relevant

No matter how it turns out in the long run, the signing of Tom Brady has done more for this Buccaneers franchise than what we’d ever imagine.

Brady may never be able to lead this team to a Super Bowl. At this point, not even the playoffs are a guarantee, but having a big name like him sign with the franchise wasn’t ever going to be the wrong move.

Brady put Tampa Bay on the map in a big way and that’s going to open the door for the franchise down the road well after he retires, no matter what the outcome ends up being.
