Man broke into Tom Brady’s mansion to rest on his couch
Tom Brady has more to focus on currently than just getting ready for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ upcoming matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
Brady, the 43-year old veteran who moved down to the Tampa area earlier this spring, made the news when it was reported that his mansion up in Massachusetts had been broken into.
Police described the suspect as “a 34-year-old homeless man” and said that they responded to the home at around 6 a.m. when the alarm system had reported an intruder in the basement. Police found the man resting on the couch in the basement.
Tom Brady is reportedly selling the 12,112-square foot mansion but it is an off-market listing. It had most recently been listed at $33.9 million, according to ESPN.
Tom Brady has a little more to deal with this week than just football
There are certain stresses and headaches that everyone has to deal with and we sometimes forget that these football players are human and they’re not immune to having those, either.
This likely won’t take much of Brady’s time- other than a few chats with the police department and whoever is helping him sell the house- but it is an unforeseen stress that he’ll have to deal with this week.
Brady moved to Tampa earlier this spring and is currently renting Derek Jeter’s 30,000-square foot mansion on Davis Island.
He and the Buccaneers are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings this weekend in Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs have an opportunity to take a major hold on a wild-card spot with a win Sunday afternoon against the Vikings.
