The storyline for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early in the season has, without a doubt, been injuries. Just looking at the inactive list for the Bucs' Week 5 match-up against the Seattle Seahawks will likely send a chill up fans' spines, as the good guys will be without the likes of Mike Evans and Bucky Irving, to name a few.

Irving will miss the game with various injuries, which is a big loss for the Tampa offense. While Rachaad White is more than capable of filling in, it's still going to be a noticeable loss for the Buccaneers.

Irving is slated to miss at least two weeks with the injuries he's dealing with and he responded to that on his Instagram. Irving is clearly emotional about having to miss time and not having him on the field will hurt the Bucs offense too. That's no shade at White, but Irving is such a special player to the point that not having him is going to be a big blow.

Bucky Irving responds to having to miss time with injury

The start to the year has truly been a nightmare injury-wise for the Buccaneers. Irving's absence will certainly be felt but the Bucs have Evans out of the lineup and have been banged up on their offensive line as well. Even with all of these injuries, Tampa has only lost one game through its first four and Baker Mayfield has been playing out of his mind.

Hopefully, Irving can take this time to heal up and come back stronger because there's no doubt Tampa will need him down the stretch. This is a team hoping to make a deep playoff run come January (and February) and Irving has to be healthy to play a part in that. In the meantime, it's Rachaad White time and hopefully this team can stay afloat and keep on keeping on.
