3. Will Baker Mayfield's preseason success translate to the regular season?

As it has been all offseason, the biggest question around this Bucs roster comes at the quarterback position. That should come as no surprise. Baker Mayfield earned the starting job, which I knew he would, handedly. The former no. 1 overall pick has plenty of doubters and with good reason, too.

But, he's also a former no. 1 overall pick for a reason. His preseason performance proved just why he was the man for this job. He looked sharp, accurate, in command of the offense and every bit of what the Bucs could have asked for when they signed him.

But, when the games begin to count, will Mayfield be able to continue that success we saw in his exhibitions? Bucs fans had been used to seeing Tom Brady under center the last couple of years, and going from the greatest of all-time to a guy that's trying to resurrect his career is quite the change.

Fans don't want to wait around for Mayfield to prove himself in the regular season. Hopefully, he is able to take full advantage of this opportunity and prove to everybody that he's worthy of this job.
