Recently, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans gave the team a deadline of Week 1 to get a new contract done.

But, it appears as though a deal is not likely and Evans' time with the organization could be up sooner rather than later.

Whether it be via free agency in 2024, or via trade in the near future, Evans' long run in Tampa Bay is coming to an end. Because a deal looks unlikely to get done, let's take a look at four teams that should try pulling off a trade for Evans.

1. Green Bay Packers

This first one is a bit of a wild card, but the Green Bay Packers' wide receiver group is extremely young and inexperienced. In fact, their top three receivers include two second-year pros and a rookie. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are entering Year 2, with rookie Jayden Reed getting his first taste of NFL action.

The Packers come up, right away, because both Watson and Doubs have already dealt with injuries. Whether or not they last or end up irritated later on remains to be seen. However, the Packers are invested in Jordan Love for their immediate future and have to do the best they can to give him the necessary weapons.

If either Doubs or Watson were to be out a while at some point, their depth becomes even more thin. Adding Evans to this group makes it a much deeper room, while giving Love an experienced veteran to help him along.
