Zac Robinson made a bold prediction on the 95.3 WDAE & AM629 sports talk show on Tuesday afternoon that will only excite Bucs fans. When asked where the Buccaneers' 2026 offense will fall statistically, Robinson said "top five."

He's spewing confidence already, and fans should love it. Realistically, a top five offense in 2026 would be difficult to get to, but feasible nonetheless. The Bucs were top four in yards and points in 2024 under offensive coordinator Liam Cohen's leadership before he accepted the job in Jacksonville.

That team, led by Baker Mayfield, boasts many similar names that will be on the roster again in 2026. After Cohen left, the offense plummeted to the bottom half of the league underJosh Grizzard's watch, but the roster has remained steadfast.

If anything, Robinson will have better offensive pieces to work with than two years ago. Bucky Irving is entering his third year in the NFL, Emeka Egbuka has another under his belt, and Mayfield has something to prove yet again, which typically works out in his favor.

The Bucs bucs have all these exciting assets, and free agency and the draft have yet to add more players.

Despite sparking mild controversy during his opening presser on Tuesday, Robinson has the accolades to back up his words.

Robinson has yet to produce a top five offense throughout his short two-year stint as an offensive coordinator, but he's gotten close. In 2024, the Falcons were 6th in yards and 13th in points under Robinson's leadership.

Robinson fell to 14th and 24th in these categories last season, leading to his employment with the Bucs. Even with the limited experience as an offensive coordinator, he's proven he can operate at a high level, and he's seen it for years.

Over his five years in Los Angeles, he helped guide the Rams offense to the top 10 three out of five seasons. Robinson knows how to get the job done, he must execute.

"We're going to be attacking at all times, that will be out No. 1 thing, we will be applying pressure to the defense... we will be in full attack mode at all times," Robinson said later in the interview.

Robinson seems overtly confident in the Buccaneers' offense in 2026, and he's got Mayfield excited. With young skill players everywhere and Robinson's expertise, the Bucs are looking to return atop the NFC South.

With the Falcons' strong offseason additions, the Panthers recent rise, and the Saints subtle improvements, the NFC South won't be easy to win. Thankfully, the Bucs have high potential, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and Robinson can help reach that potential.
