Our latest mock draft, where the Buccaneers continue to fix the defensive secondary.

Can you believe we are just two weeks away from the start of the NFL draft? Philadelphia, PA will be simply buzzing as the Buccaneers and the rest of the NFL converge upon their city to select the NFL stars of tomorrow. It’s a day when the dreams of many finally begin to be realized as the young players hear their names called from the podium.

What will Jason Licht and company do at 19? Will they go running back, or continue to revamp the defense, which is on the brink of stardom? Will they stay at number 19 to get the job done? We have two more weeks to speculate on these and other NFL draft questions. However, speculation season is in the home stretch.

More from The Pewter Plank

With that, we continue our contributions to speculation season. This morning, we are bringing you another mock draft from our Mel Kiper and Todd McShay, David Harrison and Zach Sauers.

Last time we heard from these two guys, it was for  a seven round Bucs mock draft. Each one gave us their version of where the Bucs will go in each of the seven draft rounds.

This time, it’s bigger. This time, these two have come together to bring us a full first round mock. In the coming pages they will switch off, with David taking the odd-numbered picks, and Zach taking the even- numbered picks.

Now that you know the rules, let’s get right to the action.
