SENIOR PROSPECT TO WATCH: DEFENSIVE TACKLE, DEADRIN SENAT

The Buccaneers defensive front needs some help. It could also benefit from a young guy who knows how to fight for everything and never quits.

Deadrin Senat fits the mold and has the ability to add some potential and depth on a defense which was in the bottom ten teams against the run in 2017.

They also gave up the highest percentage of third down conversions; another sign the front four just isn’t getting it done.

Senat is raw. He’s a developmental guy. But, he’s one who could carve out an early niche as a big bodied run stuffer if his effort and motor converts into NFL power and ability.

He could join the Bucs on day three and will be performing at the NFL Combine this March.

BONUS SENIOR TO WATCH: QUARTERBACK, QUINTON FLOWERS

Anytime you have a quarterback who is more athlete than passer, it’s going to be interesting to see what he does at the NFL Combine.

Flowers is one such player, and his future looks more likely to result in a position switch than it is in a quarterback career.

However, you never know what is going to happen once players step on the field. The Bucs aren’t likely to spend a late round pick on a quarterback, so look for Flowers as a possible free-agent pickup.

In the end, he may end up converting to running back, but getting a shot with the Bucs would be an ideal situation for Flowers.

Which USF Bulls player would you prefer to see on the Buccaneers’ 2018 roster?
