Vincent Jackson

As one of the more recent Buccaneers to retire, wide receiver Vincent Jackson is a potential player who could make a return to the roster.

Jackson was one of the most recognizable players for the franchise in the last decade and was also one of the best performers. Jackson hasn’t played since 2016 and retired in 2018, but he could still be a contributor on this offense.

With Tom Brady at the helm, Tampa Bay has been looking for any offensive threat possible to give the new quarterback every chance at success. As one of the best wide receivers in franchise history, Vincent Jackson does bring something different to the table.

Jackson retired in the first place after an ankle injury ended his season back in 2016. With four years having passed since then, one has to think that Jackson has fully recovered from his injury, and would possibly like the chance to come back to the game and compete for a playoff appearance.

Age isn’t a problem as Jackson is only 37 years old. After a few months of workouts to get back in shape, Vincent Jackson could be a dangerous fourth or fifth receiving option for Tom Brady in one of the best passing offenses in the NFL.
