Tom Brady still has relatively high NFL MVP odds heading into Week 5

Even though Tom Brady has had his fair share of dim spots during the 2020 season, he still remains as one of the leaders for the NFL MVP Award.

In the updated NFL MVP odds- following Week 4’s matchups- Tom Brady is still listed among the leaders as a potential candidate for the award despite a couple of pick-sixes thrown so far.

According to the latest odds, here’s a look at where Brady stacks up:

  1. Russell Wilson (+160)
  2. Patrick Mahomes (+250)
  3. Aaron Rodgers (+600)
  4. Lamar Jackson (+1200)
  5. Josh Allen (+1400)
  6. Tom Brady (+1600)

After Brady, there is a large drop in odds with Kyler Murray listed at +2000 and Ben Roethlisberger and Dak Prescott listed at +2200 odds.

Tom Brady is still the GOAT and he’s proving it on the field

There’s little chance that Brady is going to win the NFL MVP Award, but the fact that he is still even considered as one of the options at the age of 43 shows how good he has been for so long.

Brady has been excellent on the deep ball and has shown plenty of glimpses of his old self as he has worked through this season. As health returns and chemistry with his receivers grows, we should see any even more efficient Tom Brady, which should be scary for the rest of the league.

Brady might not win the award, but there’s little doubt anymore that he’s the GOAT. He’s helping lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a way we’ve never seen within this organization before and it’s clear that this team has a chance to be special, and it all starts with Brady.
