The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an unexpected connection to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, with quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily among the star-studded guests.
A ton of Kelce’s NFL counterparts were in attendance, and a few others had connections to the Buccaneers. Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady was also among the biggest names in attendance.
Retired defensive tackle Beau Allen, who spent two seasons in Tampa Bay, was at the event and even shared a picture to social media with him and Mayfield together.

With over 1,000 guests spanning across music artists to Hollywood actors to pro athletes — it was somewhat surprising how much attention Mayfield’s attendance has received on social media.
It serves as a reminder of Mayfield’s popularity off the field, which will only increase with his appearance as one of the stars of Netflix’s Quarterback documentary debuting on July 14.
Mayfield is one of football’s most recognizable personalities, thanks in part to his status as a former Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 overall pick.
He was also the face of Progressive Insurance’s “At Home with Baker Mayfield” ad campaign during his stint with the Cleveland Browns, and has also appeared in commercials for Hulu, Uber Eats, and Popeyes — so fans have become very accustomed to seeing Mayfield on their television screens.
For as much of a star as he’s become off the field, its far more important that he delivers a superstar performance on the field in 2026.
It’s a truly pivotal season for the Buccaneers and for Mayfield himself. After Tampa Bay missed the playoffs for the first time in Mayfield’s tenure in 2025, expectations are high that he’ll be able to bounce back after a down year and lead the team back into the postseason.
Now that Baker Mayfield has watched Kelce and Swift put a ring on it, his focus shifts to earning a different kind of ring of his own as he pursues his first Super Bowl championship.
