#3 WR DeSean Jackson

Who wouldn’t be excited to watch arguably the most explosive deep threat of our generation? DeSean Jackson has been doing this for years, nine to be exact, and he hasn’t lost a step. Reaching the age of 30 is scary for professional athletes, however people need to realize that Jackson is a freak of nature. He still led the league in yards per catch last year with a 17.9 mark and has looked as fast as ever in the early parts of camp. It seems like this young Buccaneers team has rejuvenated Jackson, with the big money given to him having a say in that as well.

As previously mentioned, Jackson running a go-route down the middle of the field is going to get the attention of the defense, giving Evans more room to operate. Also, it’s going to be pretty difficult for Winston to overthrow Jackson because of how fast this guy is. Just throw the ball in his direction and he will run under it. Jackson is one of the best at adjusting his body to catch a ball thrown 40+ yards down the field.

If everything goes as planned, the Evans-Jackson duo has the chance to be one of the best in football. Since when has a Tampa Bay offense had two play-makers of this caliber at the same time? Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter recently came out and said that Jackson will occasionally return punts as well. For a team that has never produced much long yardage plays in their history, adding one of the best to ever do it seems like a good way to fix it. It’s going to be a lot of fun watching D-Jax.
