The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the best uniforms wardrobes in the NFL.
Their home and away uniforms are some of the cleanest looks across the NFL, while their throwback creamsicles are among the most beloved uniforms in the league.
Tampa Bay also has an all-pewter color rush that debuted in 2020 as part of the uniform redesign, but despite quickly becoming a fan favorite, those uniforms haven’t been worn since 2023.
But after a two-year hiatus, the Buccaneers’ color rush uniforms could be making their triumphant return to the rotation.
Buccaneers team store hints at return of pewter color rush uniforms in 2026
Buccaneers pewter jerseys were hard to come by on the Fanatics online team store last year.
For last season's 50th anniversary of the franchise, the team mass produced the jerseys they’d actually be wearing throughout the year.
That meant fans could readily find the classic home and away jerseys, along with both variants of the creamsicle throwback uniforms.
The pewter jerseys were still available, but only for custom uniforms or very select players. It seemed that the pewter digs were no longer in production.
Fast forward to this year, and the pewter jerseys are back on the market. Bucs fans can find Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving, Emeka Egbuka jerseys in the pewter colorway.

This was NOT the case last year - the pewter jerseys were much harder to come by in favor of the white creamsicle throwbacks.

Meanwhile, the white creamsicle throwbacks are much less prevalent than they were a year ago. Only Mayfield and Irving are available in this colorway — likely remaining stock from last season’s production.
The sudden increase in availability strongly suggests the Buccaneers are planning to wear the pewter uniforms again in 2026.
Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds said earlier this offseason that his sources indicate the color rush uniforms will return this season, either during a preseason game or as a regular-season road alternate.
While the Buccaneers have yet to officially announce their 2026 uniform schedule, the increased availability of pewter jerseys paired with Reynolds’ reporting makes a return appear extremely likely. After two years on the shelf, one of the best uniforms in Tampa Bay’s wardrobe is finally making its long-awaited return to the field.
